I loved the visual callouts so that you know exactly which function to select, or which pull down menus to use for each step. You start with the foundation of the software and build up learning how to add trims, fabrics, customizing avatars and so much more. You will be amazed how fast you will be drafting garment patterns both in 2D and 3D. I really enjoyed having a chance to practice each lesson and submit it for feedback as well as the quick responses to any questions I had. After every lesson, there is an activity to do so you can practice on your own. The course is for beginners but you learn how to create finished garments and render in CLO 3D. Our courses cover popular software programs used in the fashion industry, such as Adobe Illustrator and 3D design software like CLO3D. We also show you how to use Excel or Google Sheets to create a fashion tech pack. And we continue to add software courses that will help you gain proficiency in digital design and communication.
No prior experience is required to enroll in our courses. Whether you're a beginner or have some background in fashion design, our courses are designed to cater to learners of all levels.
The duration of each course varies by student, but most courses are broken out by day (averaging 5-10 days). That may seem like a very short time period to learn a program, but we understand designers (especially fashionentrepreneurs) are busy, and we pride ourselves on teaching you the most efficient and effective methods. We also understand that learners have different schedules, so our courses are self-paced, allowing you to study at your own convenience.
Absolutely! We provide dedicated support throughout your learning journey. You'll have access to an online community where you can interact with fellow learners and instructors and monthly office hours. There's also lots of great supplemental videos on the 383 Design Studio YouTube channel.
Yes, all courses have either lifetime or 1 year access to the course materials, including video lessons, tutorials, and resources. This allows you to revisit the content whenever you need a refresher or want to brush up on your skills.
